My friend sent me an IM a few days ago with some Christmas message and a link, so I clicked it assuming he was showing me something funny.
Instead, I think it gave my computer a bug. Nothing is really happening except that I look at my buddy list, and I see the yellow selecter moving down my buddy list by itself, sending the same message to everyone else.
Has anyone had a problem like this, and how do you get rid of it? Thanks.

Sweet, thanks logan.
I did the first few parts of the instructions, up to 'restart your computer' but I can't find the lsass.exe thing in C:/Windows.
Am I looking in the wrong place or am I reading it wrong?

what anti virus software do you run? you may need to restart in safe mode and then run a virus scan and then delete it that way. or atleast try that. i'm finding stuff on that is recent but that's about the only thing that gives a process of getting rid of it and it apparently does not work completely.

you might try to give that a shot as well. it's an aimfix virus removal tool. worth a shot.
