Well what do u all think? Obviously he got lucky being an FA this year. No way he gets that kind of money last year. Jays really overpaid but hey this Kid has great stuff & who knows may be in for a huge year!

I'm a huge Burnett guy, and have been so despite the injuries and the nonsense that went on at the end of last year...I still think the guy has tremendous upside and should put together a solid, albeit unspectacular year with #s similar to last year. He seems like the kind of guy who likes to avoid the limelight and pressures that come in pitching in a big baseball town so I think he'll really thrive up there!

If he and Halliday can both stay healthy, and Chacin can build on his success from early '05 the Jays should be alot of fun to watch next year!

it'll be great if they sign glaus. they should keep koskie at 3rd and DH glaus (don't know if glaus will be willing) and i guess trade hillenbrand. blue jays might just win the al east this year!!

I think he does, Glaus is exactly the type of power hitter this team was missing last year without Delgado. The largest fault of the Jays last year was their horrible inability to hit homeruns, especially in situations with runners on base.

Glaus certainly makes the Blue Jays a better team, but I think Overbay has more of an impact than Glaus, the Blue Jays needed that lefty who could hit those Skydome gaps, and Overbay can do just that

Considering that Burnett is an extreme GB pitcher, its too bad that the Jays traded Hudson who is one of the best defensive 2B.
