I never thought Little was a bad manager. He really did a nice job with the 2003 Sox. He just made one, bad, bad mistake that cost him his job.

He couldn't handle the bullpen (read anything by Baseball Prospectus talking about the 2003 red sox)

Well he is in a safe situation this time. When the Dodgers continue to suck how will anyone be able to blame Little when you have a GM who bids against himself to pay a good but not great SS $13M per year? What a mess.

Good luck with Grady - what a terrible manager. Thanks for keeping in Pedro.

Eric Wilbur, Boston.com Staff wrote:If you haven't yet checked out Bill Plaschke's love letter to Grady Little, new manager of the Dodgers, you can find it here. In summation, the president who pushes the button should be judged for his body of work prior to that. And we should all give him back massages and foot rubs

Good take on Bill Plascke.

Nothing wrong with Grady. He made a big mistake in the playoffs. During the season he handled a mess of a bullpen fairly well. Sox fans can thank Theo for the glorious bullpen they had during Grady's 2 years.
