Wells is ageing and horrible. No way he is in an A's uniform come ST. Thomas may be with the A's, but that would mean Bradley would not. Someone is the odd man out here. The A's have 1 spot on the field - Thomas @ DH, or Bradley in the OF with Johnson Moving to DH. The former would mean all starters stay, the latter means Saarloos is gone. At this stage Zito isn't going anywhere from what I can tell.

I live in CT and the A's have been my 2nd-fave team since the days of Billy Ball. After what Beannie did last season by jettisoning Hudson and Mulder I strongly feel that Zito is gone at some point. A's need offense from a consistently good bat. Not some piece to a bigger whole. An actual guy who can carry a team for a while.

And the thought od Wells in Oaktown? No way.
