I can't even fathom coming close to a perfect game. I'm no pro bowler by any means, but I hold my own with about a 160 average. My highest game, however, was only a 236 and I can't imagine getting much higher.

Really. She shot her first sanctioned 300 game last summer. Got dual ABC and WIBC rings for it. The WIBC (Women's International Bowling Congress) ring was automatically upgraded to gold since very few women in the nation shoot a 300 game each year. The ABC (American Bowling Congress) ring cost $486 to upgrade to the solid gold version. Needless to say that she wears both proudly.

Now the rings are ugly (Luckily, she shot her 300 before they changed them to these nasty rings, so she got the good looking ones). The ABC, WIBC, and YABA (Young Americans Bowling Association---kids 18 and under) all merged to form the USBC (United States Bowling Congress) this year to cut costs, and the new design on the 300 rings is pretty weak.

Oh, and yes, I've got a few 300 games to my name as well.
