That is a load of money for Millwood but what can you expect when Byrd and Loazia got $7 per year. :-/

I heard it this morning and I still don't believe it. Sounds a lot like the $65 million, 5 year deal offered Burnett and the $55 million 5 year deal for Giles.

Suddenly AJ Burnett is not sounding like highway robbery anymore.

honestly id give milwood that type of money before id give it to burnett. milwood has proved that he can pitch well in the AL. Burnett had troubles pitching in the NL, and now he's coming into the AL East where he'll face the Yankees and the Red Sox a bunch of times.

MIllwood and Burnett are both big riskd to lock up for 4 or 5 years. I might take either in a fantasy league next year, but I wouldn't want to count on either for 4 or 5 years(just in case some of my league mates are trying to figure out if I like any of these guys). For 1 year sure, maybe, but for 4 or 5 at 11 mil thats a ton of cash. Though a guy like Loaiza did get 21 mil for 3 years. Oh to be a free agent pitcher!!!!
Give Snakes his due!!!! Snakes deserves the fantasy expert icon!!! Go Snakes!!!!
