i was reading a mag from spring of 2004... here's the quote...
"He's arguably the best young arm in the AL. He was unhittable coming out of the bullpen last year, and was equally dominant in winter ball."
What's going on with this kid? Will he make a comeback this year??? Bullpen or Rotation???
Someone please help.... Thanks
Jhonny

Like most young pitchers, lots of hype that rarely is ever attained. Remember how great Floppert was supposed to be? The percentage of young pitcher sthat fall flat on their face is extremely high.

He should be in the M's bullpen next year.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Tommy John surgery, then shoulder problems during recovery. He's playing winter ball, and struggling.

Cars,
I actually started a conversation earlier in the offseason about Soriano so I figured I'd give you the link. I hope this helps.

I was hoping that Seattle wouldn't keep Guardado and Soriano would get to take over as closer (since I have him in a deep dynasty league) but now I will be happy with a year of solid setup and then maybe a shot at the closers role. He's still pretty young, and has a good shot to eventually be a dominant reliever, IMO.
Bah, humbug.
