I can't see the Rays trading Crawford. And I have to think if they put him on the block 29 teams would be interested.

I guess no one is untouchable but it would be a shock if TB wanted to trade Crawford. Doesn't make much sense.

As close as you are, you should have been in Durham a few times last year to see Young and Upton

I have seen a lot of TB prospects play. I got to see Crawford a couple of times the year he got called up. I usually go when the Tides are in town.

I saw Young when the D-Rays came to Sarasota to play the Reds during ST. All he did was hit a ROCKET right at the pitcher (who made a really nice play to catch it), then come up and do it again. It was like he was gunning for their pitchers.

Seems like someone had an article deadline and decided to write something based on nothing. I guess writing a rumor on Gathright alone isn't as interesting to people, so he decided to add some spice to it per-say.

exactly the way I read it ..
Hell the author openly admits he is speculating and that the chances are slim, but he had no qualms about titling his article to create a story that was not there.
