Dont know if anyone has gotten this already.
ESPN's Peter Gammons says A.J. Burnett will likely go to the Blue Jays for five years and $55 million.
Reportedly, Burnett's agent wants to talk with the Cardinals one more time. However, the deal with Toronto could be agreed to within the next hour. It sounds as though the Cardinals just won't guarantee him the fifth year. -- Rotoworld

We'll see how he does in the tough AL East and the DH
Not a bad signing IMO but 11 mil?

I'd like Burnett a lot better if he went to the Cards...oh well...

Wow, another interesting development in this Burnett situation. Only a few hours ago, I thought Burnett was almost 100% going to St. Louis, it looks like Ricciardi stepped up and gave a better offer. Nothing appears to be set in stone yet, and I believe Burnett is waiting for St.Louis to give a better offer.

Surprised he didn't go to the Cards though.
