Don't forget that Wilkerson hit 42 doubles and 7 triples last year in a very spacious ballpark. There has been some talk of him getting traded, and if he were to end up on a team like the Cubs, then I'd definitely spend a later-round pick on him. In a better park and lineup, Wilkerson's numbers could improve quite a bit.

Lifetime OPS for Wilkerson:
Apr: .828
May: .791
Jun: .895
Jul: .731
Aug: .929
Sep: .733
Looks like he hits in June usually. And ALL players have ups and downs like he does.
RFK is an extreme pitcher's park, so Wilkerson's "slump" has a big park effect associated with it. Notice he had just 6 fewer hits last year, and had 60 total extra base hits (compared to 73, 57, and 55 the prior three years). The problem is that RFK turned 10-20 homers into doubles and triples.

Yep. Wilkerson is a very good player and any team should want him. He can play adequately all over the OF and 1B to boot.
What's more, he used to be a pretty good pitcher for the Gators.
