Alright, anyways, I've started many posts lately about baltimore only for them to lose out on both Konerko and Byrd. So, they have cash to spend! Will they spend it?? Supposedly Millwood wants a 4 or 5 year deal? WOW! Don't get too excited there big guy! I can see them swinging a trade. C'mon, Bedard for Abreu!!! I dunno if any of you saw the Stark article on ESPN today, they say it's still possible.

Why exactly does Baltimore want to lose pitching for more offense? Shouldn't they be spending their money on arms?

Now they supposedly want Ramon Hernandez or possibly Piazza.

Haha, Baltimore will need to get pitching regardless. In any event, Bedard is not a favorite w/ the O's organization. He took his time coming back from an MCL sprain last year, and it ruffled a lot of feathers.

Word on the street ( or in the lobby) is Nomar to the Yankees playing everyday, moving from 1st to DH and a few games in the outfield.

Gathwright shouldn't cost much. He is a one tool player, but he is the fastest guy in the bigs.

Mays is a FA and I believe that KC is looking at him.

Why does this not suprise me...can Kansas City get into the bidding for where the Marlins will move to? Can they combine teams (with KC taking about 3 roster spots and FLA taking the rest)? At least the Marlins have some young talent that might be competitive in a few years...we can't even say that...

-Yankees deal for Ron Villone.

-Cubs deal for Juan Pierre.

-Hoffman re-signs in San Diego.

-Soriano traded to Cubs -OR- Blalock traded to Twins.

-Barry Zito is traded to the Dodgers.

-Javier Vazquez is traded to the Nationals.

-There will be alot of buzz about Pavano going to Detroit/Seattle but it will lead to nothing.

-Manny Ramirez is dealt to the Angels.
