Just curious where you guys think he goes? I say either SD or Bal.
Indians GM Mark Shapiro and manager Eric Wedge met with Trevor Hoffman for 4 1/2 hours Saturday in San Diego, and talks continued between the sides Sunday.
According to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal, the Red Sox are expressing late interest in Hoffman. The Padres are trying to re-sign him, and the Tigers and Orioles may yet remain in the race. Dec. 4 - 8:29 pm et

I don't see it being Baltimore. Maybe Atlanta but a return to SD seems most likely to me.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I don't really want to get into this, but you are contradicting yourself. You called me spoiled for saying I don't want Andruw Jones. Now you're saying we are spoiled because we want everyone.
If you're going to make that argument, pick a side and stick to it. You can't have it both ways.
Besides, I'm pretty sure duyen was joking with the SD fans around here, wrveres and dm.
Wait a min, your defensive statement on Jones was that you did want him. But anyways, I know he was joking and I was just saying it in jest honestly, I wish the Reds owner (well we don;t have 1 as of yet really) would go after some big fish.
