why would LA do it though? i dont understand it. they lost out on giles, now they wanna give up kent??? he was their offense.
Well I buy the part about Kent being traded just not necessarily to the Mets. Supposedly Kent is pissed and wants out because they are moving him to 1B. They certainly wouldn't move him to the Mets for Matsui. My fantasies are not always realistic.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Well, if the Dodgers trade kent, then maybe they are thinking about keeping Bradley. And Izturis has to play somewhere when he comes back... I am pretty sure Furcal will stay at SS.
Also, I think the Mets 'anti-midas touch' would strike if they pull this off, and Kent would be out for much of next season...
Except when it counts right? Like the playoffs...?

Oh lol. You're not going to throw the Atlanta Braves one championship in my face, are you? How dastardly of you.
