Any concerns that the fractured rib Peavy suffered in the playoffs will keep him from his normal winter conditioning? Any lingering effects?

I really would not think so, I had a broken rib last year and even though it hurt badly for the first couple of weeks after that the pain subsided completely. So I fully expect him to be 100% easily by spring training.

It's just a rib. 4 weeks or so of rest. I don't believe it should be a problem or a concern for this coming year. :-?
