That is a ridiculously large amount of money for him. If they're shopping Kent, who do you think would play 2B, Izturis or Furcal?

Izturis won't be ready by the start of the season, right? I read that when he returns they are planning on moving Izturis to 2B and Kent to 1B. Supposedly Kent is not happy about it and that is what's fueling the trade.

Furcal makes 13 million a year, and Pujols makes a little over 14. Makes since to me. Why pay this amount for a LEAD-OFF man? Good lord, were the other bids on Furcal this close? Did the Dodgers outbid themselves for this guy??

I am sure they weren’t even in the picture for Furcal, so they had to do something to get him to stand up and notice.
irregardless of the price, I think it is an excellent acquisition for LA. I am not happy about him going there one bit.

Izturis if he is healthy. Furcal has the better arm.

Yah, I think it will be Furcal, otherwise Kent might be extremely unhappy (and have a bruised hand).

edit: I mean Furcal will stay at SS. Also, I think that Furcal would not have signed to play 2B, he could have done that with the Mets.
