It's not odd at all. I would imagine he put a load of weight on while he was injured, and the less pressure on that 41 year old knee the better.

Barry didn't seem 40 lbs overweight when he was batting late September...

Im going with 100+. I don't think he'll be pitched too once he reaches Aaron for 2 reasons.

1. He is Barry Bonds
2. He will reach to Aaron numbers around september when teams will be playing for a playoff spot. Every run will count.

If Bonds is to pass Aaron, my bet is it will happen in 07.
