Alright guys is this the year he finally breaks out? I know he has some injury problems but i remember hearing comparisons to mantle when this kid was coming up. What do u guys think of rocco

He's no Mantle thats what I think, lol.

I definatly agree he is no mantle but to draw that type of comparison he must have some talent...the question is when is it gonna come forth

Well I wouldn't expect it to come out after a year where he didn't play. If he ever does take full use of his talent, it's prolly 3 or so years away. He is still pretty raw at the plate and a year off from it didn't help.

I believe he will be a good risk/reward pick when it gets into the later rounds of a draft.

He was never compared to Mantle. The comparison that everyone has always made was to Joe DiMaggio.

He will be a solid 4th OF this year but I seem his breakout coming the following year. He will be a great player.

Interesting note: In his rookie season he was the fastest player in the majors going to first from home.

I think he can, quite easily, get .300-20-20 this season. Even though he was out a season, he's still going to have progressed.

No way he's just a 4th outfielder. He'll be a steal in almost any draft.
