They got decent K/9 numbers but they both have career minor league Whips of around 1.35 :-o That won't translate good to the Bigs I wouldn't think!

Dang it, I did it again. I put Carlos lee in 2 spots earlier on a list. I meant to put Durbin there, sorry.

I'm not too high on Balfour too much. I just read that he's still recovering from his surgery and isn't expected to fully recover until May. He might have to find a different niche now since the explosion of Crain(and hopefully he'll be able to stay consistent a whole year this time around).

As far as Boof goes I couldn't find anything as far as moving up but I'm sure he will be. I've always liked the name Boof...

I actually have always liked Balfour a lot and think he could excel at any spot in staff as long as healthy. He really has great stuff, I'd be worried about his health some as well. But the season doesn't really get started till May anways. I guess I see him as a spot starter/MR this year and good 1 at that.

A little early to be taking Castillo, isn't it? I'd think 4th round at the earliest... ;-7

Wait, so after Beckett, Castillo, Lowell, Delgado, Burnett all gone and Pierre on his way out you wouldn't worry just a little bit? :-?

I gotta stay focused, you know? Let's get Blaylock, for say... Lohse and Romero... then worry about Nomar and Piazza... Because we CAN NOT afford to keep sending Cuddyer out there at third.

I actually like Cuddyer at 2B limited range but I think he'll be a decent batter. Guess thats not gonna happen now, send him with Lohse, & Romero for Blaylock. Somebody call Ryan!!!!

Looks really good...any word where Boof or Balfour will be this year?

No way! Folks, let's not forget the fact that the Twins were a vogue pick to win it all before the start of last season. We're going to be sending a better team out on to the field on opening day this year. There's absolutely no reason to trade Radke...

Also, I don't expect Liriano to be any higher up than the fifth starter this year. Gardenhire will want to go easy on that arm. I was actually hoping that he wouldn't make the rotation at all, and would serve middle relief duty in much the same way Santana did.
