So I have been doing out with the girl you helped my with awhile ago for over 5 months. Our 6 month aniversary and Xmass are a day apart so I figured I could combine them and get one gift...easy enough, but no.

What would be a gift (not too expensive) that she would love. I have 2 ideas....

I found a web site that for you put in characterists of your girlfriend and they will design a fragrence with her name on it and everything.

My other idea was to get her a nice scarf and maybe personalize it.

Any ideas or things that have worked with your girlfriend? Thanx

you could always dump her before Christmas and then ask her back out around Jan 2, give you plenty of time to part on New Years Eve without any women around to bother you

Yeah, but get her something that's personal, something that'll make her think of you whenever she sees it. It is too early for jewelery, and it's expensive to personalize as well, but the bear idea is a fine one.

You can get her jewelry, just make sure it's very budget-fitting. I'm not sure how to buy diamonds...I'd probably be supporting some child slave labor mine or something. I'm lucky in that my wife generally does not want jewelry. She's a bit more practical.

We just had our 5th wedding anniversary Friday and I'm already thinking ahead to #10. I've got five years to figure out her favorite classical music song and find a music box that plays it. Then I'll have it engraved or a plaque or something. I need to study music boxes - don't want to get a piece of crap.
