Manny has said he wants to be traded.
Manny has said he will not report to spring training for the Red Sox.
Manny has put his Boston apartment up for sale.
The Angels do not want him.
How many teams can afford his contract?
How does Boston have any leverage in this? Manny's forcing the issue and I do not see the Red Sox having any leverage in this at all. The only thing they can hope for is teams starting a bidding war for his services.
What are you guys doing?
