There is a growing belief within the Yankee organization that free agent Brian Giles is using the club to drive up the bidding, a person familiar with the situation told Newsday.
Along with the Yankees, the Blue Jays and Dodgers are believed to be the top suitors for Giles right now. The Cardinals, Mariners and Red Sox are also likely monitoring the situation.
