Quit Smoking

I quit cold turkey not too long ago, after about 6 years or so of smoking. But I'd go with the patch over gum, if you can afford it (I understand it can get pricey). If you're looking for something in pill form, I highly recommend Zyban, I personally know three people who quit because of it and I took it myself for about a month, and quit for a while (started again afterwards though because I'm an idiot). There are other drugs in the works too, from what I understand.

Actually, I forgot to mention the most important thing: He has to truly want to quit. If he isn't 100% into it, forget it. The physical side can be dealt with and remedied; there's no remedy for the mental.
