Any suggestions on how to make it look better? I'm not completely satisfied...

I think the second one looks better. The first one has too much red with the trims and highlights of the playerss jerseys.

I agree, I might also try to touch up the cutouts - they seem a bit rough, and sometimes its things like that that give a sig the polished shine you are looking for. I might also put an outer glow around the players instead of a drop shadow.
