So much for his back trouble being minor - I-Rod will be out for 4-6 weeks. Sorry about the bad call here; the deal seemed like a good idea at the time. With any luck, he'll be back in a month and put up solid stats. Let's hope for the best...

The best thing that's come from this trade is that even with I-Rod's injury, I've actually lost nothing, as Eli Marerro has slumped badly since I've traded him. I highly suggest at least benching Marerro. I dumped him onto the WW in one of my leagues. However, he was snatched up quite quickly.

pudge is risky, but he is worth the risk. Imagine if he got a full season in.
