He's listed day to day after being hit in the face yesterday. Anyone know if he'll start tonight?

They are saying right now that he fully expects to play tonight. Personally, I think it will be a game time decision.

he sat out a game about 2 weeks ago, no streak..

Yes, he pinch hit in back-to-back games. He's played something like 478 consecutive games. Second only to Tejada who's right around 500 straight games.
