Ryan is the best pitcher of all time in the same manner as Ozzie Smith was the best SS or Bill Mazeroski the best 2b. Yet unfortunaelty, if you ask even the esteemed baseball writers or Veteran's committee, even they can have brain cramps and let 650 OPS players in the HOF...so why not guys like Ryan being voted number one by the less informed general poplulace?

She's probably either a) not on the list or b) gone up against the #2 girl in every battle.
Either way, it doesn't really matter.
And yes, Nolan is a cult leader.
Today's #2 is actually kind of ugly

I voted Koufax. But it is surprising to see Ryan before Clemens. That's ridiculous.
