Shrek
Aladdin
Nemo
Incredibles
Lion King
Toy Story
Monsters Inc
Shrek rules and that's a fact...I used to work in the electronics dept of a dept store an I could play any family friendly movie I wanted, I prolly saw Aladdin 1250 times...Nemo may be a sentimnental pick cause my lil boy likes him
Cream of the crop fun for all:
The Incredibles - everything about this movie is great
Finding Nemo - best story and writing - the only drawback is Ellen Degeneris
Lion King - Excellent soundtrack puts this one in the top tier
Three funny classics
Toy Story
Shrek
Monsters Inc.
Not quite on the same level
Alladin - like Lion King except not as good maybe funnier but it has an annoyingly coked up Robin Williams
Madagascar - minor characters are the best - the penguins, monkeys and especially Ali G as the lemur king
I might put Ice Age in this category.
In a different category
Fantasia - not really for kids and a little dated but it is a masterpiece
Spirited Away - everybody should see this amazing Japanese fantasy
I might put A Nightmare Before Christmas and Final Fantasy VII in this category
considering i have a 6 year old, I have seen all these movies at least 15 times a piece except for Spirited Away,, heck she has all of these in her room on dvd...
But the 2 best of the bunch out of these is Lion King and Finding Nemo, as I would say these are the 2 best cartoon movies basically made in the last 15 years or so easily
Coppermine wrote:Also, Spirited Away was actually very good but doesn't really belong in this list of happy Disney/Pixar type movies... it was a little disturbing.
i agree. I'd say Spirited Away is prolly he best of the bunch, but it's like comparing Major League to Apocalypse Now. (okay, not really)
i can rank the Miyazaki movies i've watched, mook, even though you didn't ask for it
My Neighboor Totoro
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
they are all pretty good IMO.
from the list...
Spirited Away
Shrek
Monsters Inc
Finding Nemo
Ice Age
Lion King
