P2P Problem

Postby HiddenIdentity » Sat Nov 19, 2005 3:56 pm

I just encountered this problem and was wondering if anyone could help. I have been using Limewire for a few weeks and now I am unable to conect to it. I have Norton Internet Secuirty, but I haven't changed any settings on it. I then downloaded Kazaa lite, but I couldn't connect to that either.

Can anyone help?

Uh oh. Looks like they're on to you.

Better delete all your files and lie like a rug when they come to get you.

I can't really help you, but you should try Bearshare, too, to see if that works. Otherwise, consult our IT expert and P2P user ACS ;-D

Haha. That's who I was waiting for. ;-D

Edit:
Also, I just got a different computer back from repair, so it had nothing installed on it, no firewalls, no programs, nothing except the basics. That computer is connected to the same wireless router as this one, and when I installed limewire, that computer couldn't connect either.

I've said it once, if I've said it a thousand times, it's time to hit up BitTorrent...

Go to: http://www.azureus.com/

Downlaod Azureus, the best bittorren client.

Then, start finding your torrents...

My two favorite torrent sites are:

http://thepiratebay.org/

and

http://isohunt.com/

I don't mind using BitTorrent, but I like limewire and was confused to why it wasn't working on either of my computers. :-?

On the one that has them I disabled it and the other computer doesn't have any.
