What kind of numbers do you guys see him putting up next year? How many good years does he have left in him?

Too risky! If he ever is checked for steroids, I can't see him passing.

With a huge target on his chest (and his back), do you really think he'd be dumb enough to do 'roids again - or at least get caught?

It's ridiculous to suggest Giambi would be THAT stupid. I bet there are hundreds of players getting off the juice as we speak.

Look at him. What's he got to lose? The Yankees were about to void his contract at the beginning of last season when he started out so pathetic. How else do you think he just happened to turn his season around?

The Yankees werent ABOUT to void his contract, they COULDNT. now that we've got that straight, if you followed the yankees daily, you could almost feel that he was creeping back. mattingly told torre a week before giambi went on his tear that he was close. at the beginning of the season his swing and timing were completely off. a year away from the game iwll do that. he still had a great eye at the plate. id rather believe he made back wi/o the juice.
i think giambi will put up sweet numbers next season. but itd be risky to draft him in a H2H format. he's a very hot/cold player. but in roto .280 30 80+ wont kill you right? rbis will prbly depend on where he hits in the lineup.

He has been checked multiple times this past year. Plus, due to his tumor from the previous years, his medication is constantly monitored by doctors. Don't take him becuase you do not like him, but not becuase of any fear of him failing a test. I believe he was "randomly" tested at least 2 or 3 times this past year.
