Anyone camp out for Black Friday?

i fought the crowds tuesday and wednesday--- the grocery stores are usually packed the couple of days before thanksgiving,,, but today it is nice and calm in here

I was laughing about the carrots in that pic, too. I mean, why put them in the dish? They're not even cut. Just leave them in the plastic wrap they were in at the grocery store then throw them in the crisper drawer in the fridge.

Someone wasn't thinking too hard when they put that ad together.

And, yes, $10 for that is awesome. Regular price is about $100, but I think a common price for a set like that is somewhere around $60.

I did it!!

I got the laptop, but man, I will never do that again!

The whole place was a zoo. I got to my local CC at 8:30pm and was already 15th in line. Once I got in it took 2 hours and 45 minutes to move 10 places. I was 10th in line at the laptop section when it started and it took almost 3 hours to get to me!!!

Crazy people at these places.

hopefully by tonight when i get there to get the 32 inch rca tv they have for 200 bucks for my mother it will be a little calmer but i'm not counting on it. luckily i will have to get it delivered so all i'll really have to do is buy the thing.

I went ot CompUSA last night at 12am and the lines were stretching throughout the entire store. Luckily, I found osmeone I knew at the front of the line, and I only had to wait for 1/2hr. Ended up getting back at 230 with a DVD Burner and a wireless keyboard. Too bad everything else was gone.

My mother in law was at Wal-Mart and got the last deep fryer. While she was looking at another item, someone actually STOLE the deep fryer out of her buggy!

Insanity......pure insanity today in the stores.

Myself, I caught up on some sleep . I wasn't about to fight those crowds.

Friends calls me up at 2am and tells me we are camping a Fry's electronics. We got there at 3am to find 500 people in front of us.

Ended up with a free 80 gig HD, a $40 160 gig external HD, and a $50 photo printer.

It was very crazy and uncomfortable. I don't think it is worth it.
