A person who spoke with Carl Pavano late in the 2005 season said Pavano was "miserable" with the Yankees and that he would like the team to try to trade him this winter.
That's quite a change of heart, if true. Pavano is owed about $30 million over the next three years and his shoulder remains a source of concern, so the Yankees would probably have to cover a portion of the contract in order to trade him. The Newark Star-Ledger reports that they'll listen to offers, but that a deal would be a low priority. Nov. 18 - 2:21 pm et

I doubt anything happens but I'd support getting rid of him if we can find a taker for his contract.

I didn't hear this come from Pavano's mouth so I don't want to be too critical but I am sick and tired of these multi millionaires being "miserable" with their jobs. Suck it up. You weren't miserable when you financially set yourself up for life. Did the Yankees cause you to get injured? Is it really too much pressure to be expected to pitch and win? You expect to get paid right.
