What are your feelings on the kid going into '06? Is Beane finaly ready to unleash the beast, and what value will he have fantasy wise?

There have been discussions about him before, and I believe the concensus is that you will probably never get much in the way of BA out of him. In fact, if you're playing categorical (and most of you guys are), then he will probably drag you down there more than he will help you elsewhere.

Why do you think Swisher was on the juice?

I expect him to put up pretty good power with something like a .260ish average. Not terrible, but nothing great for a fantasy team.

He really is an unknown for me at this point. He was horrible towards the end of the season, but apparently he has the kind of personality (arrogance) that you would imagine would allow a guy to not dwell on it. He is a great athlete with some serious power. Expect the same numbers again next year as he had this year, with a few extra bombs. '07 will probably be his coming out party.

Adam Dunn average with a lot less power? Ride the streak kinda player. Might get better the season after

I agree with Ryn. Untill he proves otherwise I don't think you should really have him as a first option in a fantasy league.

FWIW, there were a couple of long threads about him during the season. I'm too lazy to dig them up, but I'm sure you can find them with a quick search. ;-D
