Anyone notice how there aren't that many good lefty relievers out there right now? Wagner and Guardado don't count as they will close most likely wherever they go. Ryan will probably, but not for sure, setup. Outside of them, who else is there? Marte, Rhodes, King, and Gonzalez. Gonzalez will likely close, and the rest are not that good.
Don't forget my man Neal Cotts
Bold Predictions:
Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position
Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs
Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

Looks like he might close too. Reports out of NY say that he told the Yankees he was not interested in playing for them as a setup man.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Something I didn't know about Eyre, he hasADHD.
With the new Steroid policy testing for amphetamines does anyone know what happens when a player is on Ritalin or Adderall (both amphetamines) for medical reasons?

that's pretty big news, last time i read something he said he wouldn't mind going to NY and be the setup man for riveira in NY.
riveira is saying he wants gordon back next year.
Reportedly that is what he originally said but I think it's like Furcal saying he'd be willing to play 2B for the Mets. He doesn't really want to play 2B but he will if the Mets are going to blow every other offer away.
