Just took over a dynasty team

I just took over a dynasty team in a 12 team Yahoo league. The cats are OBP, SLG%, W/L, CG, and HLD to go with the usual cats. I feel that my hitters are very strong, however I need some pitching help. Let me know who you guys think I should move to better my team. Obviously, I have some depth at 1st base and that's where I'll start. I'm thinking of punting the saves category and picking up some top set-up guys. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I think I would attempt to use Fielder, A. Jones, Barmes and C. Jones to acquire a vg SP and some middle relievers. Bonderman or Schmidt may also prove useful trade bait. I don't think radical restructuring is in order but 3 or 4 personnel changes could see a major improvement. I'd probably look to get 1 elite SP and 2 or 3 good middle relievers

I definitely am trying to move Andruw after his big season. I don't want to overhaul the roster because this team finished 3rd in the league last year and I think that with a few moves I could win the title this year. Thanks for the help

It just strikes me that you are slightly top-heavy with bats and thin in closers and mid-relief. Trading Andruw and either Thome or Fielder (preferably Thome) could net some good additions. The other venue is the FA market. I'm willing to bet that there are several good mid-relief pitchers available.

Thats a really good team, you've got as ton of good SPs I'd trade one and maybe a Howard or something for an elite option at SP or RP. A lot of nice youth, but you'll need to shift some SPs if you have an innings limit.

do you really play all those players? I mean the extra position players? if you don't I'd find a way to move 1 of each for some new parts. Ideally, you'd be able to trade Thome, Barmes, Jones, and Schmidt for more consistent RP/SP. You might even want to use one of those guys to upgrade at ss.

Yes, a 2-fer is the way to go, maybe more than one 2-fer to get two elite SPs. You would not want to trade too much to get a closer because there would be one available by the end of spr. Training or you could find one in April as the annointed candidate struggles somewhere.
