Why is Sprite the only soda marketed towards black people? I never saw a black guy in an A&W commercial...
It's just an observation.

Sodas that aren't Pepsi or Coke were developed to target a specific market in a manner that either Pepsi or Coke just can't accomplish. Sprite is marketed towards the black community. Dr. Pepper is marketed heavily towards Latinos. Mountain Dew is marketed toward young, white males. Those are all Pepsi companies.
I would imagine that the Coke equivalents - 7Up, Mr. Pibb, and Surge (when it was around) - are/were marketed towards the same demographics.
