..ya' know, that's not a bad idea ... i am not a big nomar fan but this could be a good situation for both player and team..IF nomar does end up at 3B someplace look for a very poor defensive year from him..dlee saved him from many throwing E's in his brief stint at third

I know that the Dodgers have expressed interest in him in the past and the owner is dumb enough to do it but he would have to switch positions if it were gonna happen. Izturis is far better defensivley so it's not likely that he will move.

I'm gonna go out a limb here and say that Nomar signs with a team like the Marlins, Astros, Braves, or Dodgers, maybe even Cards (now that could be awesome). That would be a huge upgrade form David "I try really hard but have no real talent" Eckstein. LaRussa, get on it!

So says a fan of the team that overspends on all players whether they pan out or not. You may take Eckstein but George wouldn't! haha, this is fun. I'd say Renteria is by far a better player than Eckstein and always will be. So he has 1 down year on an team and in a town that is hard to play for. I 'd say the numbers and monumental clutch hitting backs up Renteria, nuff said. Funny stuff though.
