nomar will get plenty of attention from other teams. whoever loses out on furcal are going to look into bringing on nomar as plan B.

this probably means the cubs are confident of bringing in furcal.

while i'd prefer he stay with atlanta, better chicago than the mets. ;-D

I would take Nomar if he paid me to join the team. I don't trust him one bit. All I can say is the team that signs him better have a good backup.

I think alot of teams would look at him for 5 million, but I don't see him going that low. Think it will cost ~ 8 million to sign Nomar, and a multi-year deal. Not worth it at that cost.
