The guy has now one 4 games in a row and is 8-5. Today he threw 7 2/3 shutout innings against the mighty Seattle Mariners on the road with 6 Ks, and 1 BB. The 6 Ks is the biggest indicator that this guy is starting to figure it out again. And he should at least be good for another 8 wins in the second half. So if he's on the WW, I'd grab him, if you have a marginal SP on your team who you can dump. Like Mark Buehrle, this is a guy who I would expect to rebound.

He's back from where? Ramon Ortiz has always had the ability to dominate, which is why he's been called Little Pedro, however he is also wildly inconsistent. He's gonna give up 5 runs soon, watch.

Back from where? Uh, let me see...he's back from the fantasy pooper. How about that? Go on espn and check out how many leagues he is owned in -- about 25-30%. And before the start of the season, he was owned in 100% of leagues.
Sure, Ramon is inconsistent -- or as I would put it: STREAKY. But he already went through his piece of crap period and is looking great right now. So anybody in one of those leagues where is on the WW, should seriously consider riding him while he is hot.
As you put it: The guy can dominate.

I agree. I just grabbed him this morning and dropped Reed. I was contemplating btwn. dropping Penny or Reed. I decided Reed is washed up and hopefully Santana will acquire a spot (in the near future) in the starting rotation for the Twins. Ortiz will dominate...no question about it.

Dropping Reed for Ortiz is risk-free. That's the kind of move that is a no-brainer.
