Tucker went to the Phillies at the end of last season...

Besides, why would SF want Tucker? He's old and he only hit .239 with 5 homeruns last season.

San Fran needs to bring in some youth to help balance that club out...they had the oldest batting lineup in the NL last season at 32.2 years old.

wierd I was just thinking about Michael Tucker ..
I saw this over at Rotoworld, and his was the first name that popped in my head .... ;-)

Rather than sign free agents before the arbitration deadline as usual, the Giants plan to keep their draft picks this year, according to the Oakland Tribune. A major shift in strategy. The Giants didn't pick until the fourth round of the 2005 draft. Two years ago, they signed Michael Tucker just hours before the arbitration deadline because they didn't want to spend money on a first-round pick. Nov. 11 - 2:05 pm et :-°

Tucker will land on his feet somewhere. He's a veteran LH stick off the bench. Someone will sign him as insurance and he'll play another year. O:-)
