Is he cool?
Rooney is the best play-by-play man in the business. You guys will love him. White Sox fans hated to see Rooney go and know that his replacement won't come close to matching up to him.

Yes, Rooney is the best. I would say one of the top in the business.......the cards fans will love him. You guys can turn down your TVs to mute that clown bag Chip Caray and listen to the radio.

personally i didnt care for rooney. to "by the book" style announcer. I like my announcers to be more homerish. his play by play is good, but i dont miss him.

yea hes not boring and he does know how to get excited. it's just he seems to get just as excited when the opposing team makes big plays. kinda bugged me, but it's all personal preference.
