opposite colors blend to make grey. in this case it pink and light green. this was a great way to take advantage of it.
there's something about your eye creating a inverse image as it interprets color or something like that. If you stare at numbered red playing card for 20 seconds or so and then immediately look away to a white wall you will see an image of a black card with green numbers and symbols.
same effect with this thing except i guess staring at it combined with the constant switching and motion makes ita ll grey after a while.
in grade school i was an optical illusion nut
