How to handle FA on cbs?

I am planning on starting a H2H salaried keeper league next year and trying to get some opinons on how the best way to handle Free Agents. Ideally, I would love to support FAAB, but cbs doesn't handle it.

What about assigning FA a set $ value (ie. $5) and just use the waiver wire?

We are going to be a pretty deep league (16 teams, 28 players each team) so I don't think teams would be fighting over that hot FA.

any other suggestions?

I personally think this is the best way to handle free agents. Just makes it so much easier. No reason to turn the commish into an accountant too.
