I have the first pick in our AL ONLY minor league draft. All the big names are gone , Gordon, Kendricks guys like that are gone. Who are a couple of players I could look at in the spring and grab one? Pitchers are very tough. Verlander. Zumaya both top prospects as is Liriano but all three could start in the majors. We can hold minors over year to year as long as they don't come up and stay in the majors more then two weeks. Then they have to be activated.So somebody two to thre years away is fine. Looking for that one special player. Remember AL ONLY!

Brandon Wood?
Delmon Young?

It would be easy if you posted a list of who is taken already.

If you have the first pick, how can anyone be gone? All eligible rookies including Gordon should be available.

Those players were taken last year. D Young, Gordon, Wood , Butler, Kendricks, Aybar. We can carry players year to year as I said in my opening. As long as they aren't on the major league roster two weeks or more. I have Kubel on my minor league roster because he still qualified as a minor leaguer. Any other names. Don't forget AL only

Alex Gordon wasn't signed until this year. How would the drafter know for sure he would be on an AL team? Three other recent outstanding signees by AL teams are Craig Hansen, Jeff Clement and Ricky Romero.

We had a special minor league draft . Hard to explain but Gordon was taken. Hansen was faabed when he came up. he is still on a roster but could be thrown back and repicked. Who is Romero?. Clement interests me. All players become $5.00 once they are activated.
