I recommend FEAR though if your comptuer can handle it. Download the demo... If you can't get it to run as well as you want then don't buy the game.

Agreed. saw it on my buddy's comp and it looks real nasty. lots of detail. slo-mo is badass.

Oblivion coming out soon as well.

My system is a 3500+ Overclocked to 3800 Speeds and a 6600gt. And running at 1158 x 864 or whatever it is I was getting slow FPS like 15 in heavy battle which is no fun.

It looked awesome though. No edges with aa set . However, I noticed that at 800 x 600 with 2xq AA it looked pretty awesome as well with only minimal edging plus my frames were a minimum of like 30 so that was nice!!!

Anyways one of these days i'm gonna buy a 7800gt and be in gamer heaven

Civ 4 is awesome. If you're a fan of that series this one is another must-have.

i never even knew CIV 4 was out. i love civ 2 and 3. great games. i should take a trip to the nearest computer store to check it out.

It has been like five years... it seems like the second one came out a year or two after the first... but, from what I've heard, it's worth the wait.

my friend had just finished building his comp a week or 2 earlier, so i'm sure he had a top-notch card in there.

I've always liked the Civ games and really enjoyed AoE 1 when my friend had it, although I never got it. Which do you think looks better between the AoE 3 and Civ 4?

Just "recieved" COD2.. Mixed feelings. First off its super buggy. Using DX9 the game looks about the same at using DX7 accept with DX7 i get about 150 FPS and DX9 I get 20-40 no matter what setting I put it at.

That kinda stinks.

Anyways after playing through a level the game crashed and said my DX9 was bad. Which it isn't apparently this issue happens alot.

i updated to the new NVIDIA beta drivers and it worked.

Anyways the first game was awesome but I mostly used it just to play multiplayer which IMO was one of the best multiplayers ever.

COD2 is basically the same game with a tiny bit of graphic tweaking such as smoke and lights. Which in turn seem to drag the frames down to a totally unacceptable level for the texture qualities.

I'll play it somemore but I'm not overly impressed. ALthough this game is super full of action. There are so many enemeies and it does give you an excellent feeling for WW2. I give it a B until they fix some bugs or until I really start digging it.
