As long as he's playig at RFK, under on all except maybe batting average and steals... but don't expect those kind of power numbers from him this year.
Under as well....And I look for the Nats to make a move at 3B leaving Zimm as a UT player....

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
under as well. we can expect him to slump somewhere mid season, but if he's as good as the nationals are making him out to be, he should be produce nice numbers around the end of the year.
Over on the AVG as this guy can hit and has done so at every level so far, but under on the HR and RBI. I can see him hitting quite a few doubles, but combining the fact that he's not known as a power hitter and that he's in a bit of a park unfavorable to power, I wouldn't be looking at too many HR's from him. I'll probably lean towards over on the SB's. He runs decently for a 3B and 5 probably isn't too much to ask for, but that's too dependent upon how often they would send him to make a confident guess.
As far as job security concerns, I've heard they traded Castilla so the job would be Zimmerman's. Considering that and the weak FA market for 3B and also that they would be hard-pressed to find a 3B as good defensively as Zimmerman is capable of being, I expect the job to be his to lose entering ST.
I agree with mcqfesijiba, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see this kid rake and hit close to .300. On the other hand he won't have those power numbers. He isn't a big power hitter to start with, plus a crumby hitters park and bad line up won't help.
I'm going to go with what a lot of the other people are saying about Zimmerman. I can see him hitting about 285 but I don't see the power/RBI numbers being there for him in that lineup. I think the Nats will try to bring him along slowly (similar to what the Mets did with Wright and he'll probably hit 6-8 in the lineup). We'll see if they are conservative with him though, they did have him hit cleanup . It could be an interesting situation to keep an eye on for next year.
