The Best Homemade League Websites You've Seen Out There

Postby Reality Baseball » Fri Nov 04, 2005 11:46 pm

Hi, all. I'm a longtime lurker of Fantasy Baseball Cafe. Finally got off my lazy butt and registered.

Next year I am looking to set up a new dynasty league, and I'm looking for some inspiration re: the construction of our league's new webpage.

Now, I've noticed that some people throw some incredible effort into building fantasy football league webpages, but have never seen the same passion for fantasy baseball.

But I know that there are hardcore fantasy baseball junkies out there who have done some amazing things in the design of their league webpages. There have to be.

So, please, give me the scoop. What are the smoothest, most creative looking designs you have seen for homemade fantasy baseball league sites out there?

I haven't seen many fantasy baseball league sites, but for some different design ideas you might look at some of the baseball simulator league sites out there. There are a large number of them out there, especially OotP derived ones.

Good luck. ;-D

My fantasy baseball league uses CBS Sportsline as our host. However, we have a site devoted to our league which I am currently brainstorming on how to run the whole league from (and save the $129 for sportsline)

The inside pitch: http://www.theinsidepitch.com/
This is especially good for monitoring closers and starting lineups

Great info on that site, but right now I'm looking at this from a pure design perspective.

This may or may not be a stupid question...

if I had a format set up, would there be a way for me to get stats to auto-update to my created website? :-?

Here is ours. It is very utilitarian. The guy I am running against for commissioner made it to show how "involved" he is in the league. Basically, he has made an excellent secretary. But it has all of the basic information that we need to use.
