by the lack of buzz surrounding Matt Morris as a free agent?
He was pretty bad in the 2nd half but with such a slim FA year I thought he would be more in demand. :-?

Not really. I think teams are scared away from him because of the bad second half this year and the overall sub-par year he had most of last year. It seems like there hasn't been too much talk about any of the SP FAs so far. I haven't really heard much about Burnett and I'd take him over Morris in a second obviously.

i am not surprised. his name doesnt figure to get tossed around until burnett and millwood are off the table, and with teams waiting to see who gets offered arby's curly fries, once again the action wont heat up until december. i have heard that the mariners contacted matt's agent.
