I think it's a great move, of course. He had a great second half and had good starts in the postseason both this year and last.

The rotation is shaping up to be solid again this year with or without Morris IMO.
1) Carpenter
2) Mulder
3) Suppan
4) Marquis
5) Reyes
and Wainwright is waiting in the wings to get a shot either in the pen or if one of Marquis/Reyes falters. Suppan really isn't a 3rd starter, but I don't think Marquis is and Reyes isn't one, at least not yet. They've got a great 1-2 then a bunch of end of the rotation guys, but I'm not too worried at this point. Anyway, I see I've successfully derailed another topic, my work here is done.
