With Luis Sojo reportedly unwilling to accept a demotion from third-base coach to first-base coach, the Yankees are considering bringing in Tony Pena as Roy White's replacement.
Sojo might remain in the organization as a manager in the minors. The Yankees are also in the process of replacing bullpen coach Neil Allen, possibly with former Red Sox pitching coach Joe Kerrigan. Kerrigan has also been a candidate to become the pitching coach, but the favorite for that job is Ron Guidry.
Yes, let's shore up the pitching problems by bringing in the man who wanted to make Pedro a closer. Now is Clueless Cashman in on this brain-child?
