Belkin probably makes your best wireless routers, followed closely by Linksys and Netgear.
The "next big thing" in wireless technology is 802.11n but it's not out yet... if you want the very latest though in Wi-Fi, then you should go with the Belkin Pre-N Wireless Router. It's as good as it gets as far as 802.11g goes.
However, I use a Netgear router at home, low end of the spectrum, and I have no problems with it. At work we use Linksys and it works jut fine. Basically it doesn't matter, as long as it's 802.11g. Or you can wait for 802.11n... which may be worth it if you need to get a separate wireless card for your PC.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
